New European coal forwards codes introduced

Commodity: Power Region: Europe The following code announcment was originally published on July 30, 2009, with the original launch date of August 17.

It has since been decided that the frequency of these assessments is now going to be daily instead of weekly.

The following codes have been created in dispatch category CI.

They represents daily assessments for barge coal FOB ARA 90 days forward in USD/Mt and Eur/Mt and weekly averages.

Weekly averages will appear each Friday in International Coal Report.

Daily assessments launch Monday September 14, 2009.
