Stocks almost unchanged against 5-year, 10-year averages
Hydro output eases again to 441 GWh on lower demand
Year-to-date hydro output 45% higher on year
London — Spanish hydro power stocks fell in the seven days to Aug. 16 -- Week 33 -- to less than 12.67 TWh, or 54% of capacity, with the surplus against historical averages almost unchanged on the week, environment ministry data showed Aug. 18.
The surplus to the five-year average was almost unchanged at 2.08 TWh from 2.09 TWh the previous week, while the surplus to the 10-year average stood at 1.09 TWh steady on week.
Hydro output in week 33 eased for a second week to 441 GWh, from 478 GWh the previous week on lower demand.
Total hydro output since the start of the year to Aug. 16 was 22.17 TWh, up 44.9% on the year.
