Difference is more than something to be celebrated. It’s essential to our success.View our EEO policy
Diversity is one of our core values. It’s reflected in our leadership’s commitment to an inclusive workplace that leverages each individual and his or her unique contributions. The diverse characteristics, perspectives, ideas and backgrounds that our employees bring to S&P Global give us a vital competitive edge. We embrace and support our employees’ differences in race, color, religion, sex, gender identity or expression, age, sexual orientation, national or ethnic origin, citizenship status, veteran status or disability and other characteristics that make our employees unique.
Our Diversity & Inclusion Commitment
Five strategic priorities shape everything we do to bring our commitment to Diversity & Inclusion to life:
Diverse Talent Acquisition and Development: Robust recruiting plans to find great talent from all sources and comprehensive career development plans and opportunities so valued employees grow with us.
Operational Excellence: Elevate action planning and decision-making by regularly tracking and sharing success metrics, and holding ourselves to the highest standards through external benchmarking.
Leader & Employee Engagement: Capture the hearts and minds of employees through authentic leader and employee communications, outreach and advocacy.
Employee Resource Group Success: Deliver programming that directly impacts employees’ skill development, advancement and networking opportunities.
Global Expansion: Build a D&I platform across the S&P Global footprint centered on deep local knowledge and cultural agility
Our S&P Global D&I Council ensures that our vision and strategic priorities are thoroughly embedded in our company’s values and actions. This group is comprised of senior executive sponsors, and leaders across all levels, divisions and locations. Each member plays a vital role in cascading key D&I messages into his or her organization while bringing essential workplace feedback back to the Council and the progress of the Council is regularly reported to our executive team and Board of Directors.
Employee Resource Groups
Our Employee Resource Groups support, engage and inspire our employees by connecting people with shared interests, experiences and perspectives. Their mission is to attract and retain diverse talent, promote professional development, support communities where we operate, spark innovation and expand business opportunities.
