Fouad Samra is a Managing Director for Tor Investment Management, one of the leading independent alternative credit managers in Asia with over $2 billion under management. Fouad has 13 years of experience in trading and investing. Prior to joining Tor, Fouad was an Executive Director and Head Trader for the Asian Special Situations Group (ASSG) at Goldman Sachs. During his 11-year tenure at Goldman Sachs, Fouad was responsible for sourcing primary and secondary investing opportunities, overall portfolio strategy, and risk management for a multi-asset class portfolio that averaged $3 billion. In addition to providing a sourcing pipeline for ASSG, Fouad helped develop a dynamic hedging book of vanilla and derivative products across credit, equity, FX, interest rates, and commodities. Fouad earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Financial Accounting from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California.
