Edward Soon is the Head of Corporate Solutions at IHS Markit across the APAC region. He leads the business responsible for providing investor relations advisory, data analytics and corporate governance advisory services to listed issuers across the region. Edward joined IHS Markit from Ipreo, a company which was acquired by IHS Markit in 2018. Prior to this, Edward held senior leadership positions in Thomson Reuters, Computershare and Georgeson, overseeing their commercial expansion across the region. With over 20 years of experience in the data, analytics and financial technology industries, Edward has held general management roles spanning product management, strategic business development and corporate advisory. Edward holds Master of Laws from the University of New South Wales, Australia, and graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Hons) and Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from the same institution. He also holds a Certificate in Investor Relations from the UK IR Society.
